Welcome to my blog.
The purpose of it is to find out whether monarchy is still relevant in our society. Is it superflous and coming to an end, as we all have to disappear somehow? In other words, is it time to ‘Exit King’ as Ionesco once stated in a play or is this an absurd idea and is monarchy endless and will it stay alive forever?
I am a Flemish teacher and want to use the blog info as an input for a theatre project with 17-18 year olds, starting from Ionesco’s ‘Le Roi se meurt’.
So I hope you will all respond massively and share your views and experiences with this or similar material.
Can you each time mention who you are, what you do, why you react and where you live? I need those data for my classes.
Thx a lot.
